Divian Nair

Divian Nair is a media veteran, storyteller and creative leader with more than two decades of experience across radio, television, voice-over and live hosting. His earlier career included anchoring major drive-time programmes on 987FM and Kiss92FM, hosting travel documentaries across more than 26 cities, and presenting two seasons of Channel NewsAsia’s Challenge Tomorrow, where he interviewed international leaders on issues including national identity and cyber warfare.

Today, Divian is the CEO and Creative Director of Storyteller Productions, where he leads the conceptualisation and creative direction of nationwide campaigns, films, exhibitions and public engagement initiatives.

Over the past 12 years, Storyteller has worked with government institutions, statutory boards, corporations and charities to translate complex ideas and national conversations into stories people can connect with.

In 2022, Divian conceptualised and helmed Project Lionheart, one of Singapore’s largest roving exhibitions marking the nation’s transition towards living with COVID-19. More recently, he has led major national projects including MSF’s National Family Festival, MCCY’s Somerset Belt placemaking initiative, and the creative design of the SG Youth Plan.

Beyond his work in media and communications, Divian has served on ACCORD, a National Youth Council committee, and is currently serving his third term on the Founders’ Memorial committee. He was also named the Digital and Intelligence Service NSman of the Year 2023 for his contributions as Deputy Head of the SAF Content Generation Unit.

Leon Kleinman

Leon Kleinman is the Lead Account Director — or LAD — at Storyteller Productions, and Co-founder of We Are Majulah. With more than 15 years of experience across integrated campaigns, content, events and public engagement, he likes to think the title fits: he’s become a pretty good LAD at keeping clients supported, teams aligned and complicated projects moving.

His work spans both the public and private sectors, covering campaign strategy, creative development, multimedia production, placemaking and public engagement. Leon’s role often sits somewhere between strategist, problem-solver, translator and occasional firefighter, connecting client objectives, creative ambition, commercial realities and execution to make sure good ideas actually make it into the real world.

Beyond Storyteller, Leon co-founded We Are Majulah, a civic platform centred on stories, people and conversations that strengthen the Singapore community. He has also represented Singapore and Asia at world-level full-contact Kyokushin karate, bringing much the same discipline, resilience and stubborn refusal to stay down to both Storyteller and the dojo.
