Singapore Global Network Branding Video

Commissioned by Singapore Global Network (SGN), we created a branding video embodying SGN’s values of authenticity, trust, and adaptability. Centered around the message “No matter where you are, you are never alone,” the video portrays characters overcoming challenges through the support of their global network, showcasing SGN’s mission of building genuine, diverse connections worldwide.

Sayang Sembawang

We were tasked by Sembawang Town Council (STC) to create an emotive piece showcasing the northern district. Given the special place that Sembawang is, with its vastly diverse peoples, places and traditions, all it took was hard work and persistence to reveal the beauty and idiosyncrasies of Sembawang.

Most shots in this video production featured actual residents of Sembawang going about their daily lives, as the intention was to keep the video as real as possible to capture the true essence of Sembawang.

Due to the many high buildings in the area, we relied on drone footage to bring out the best of Sembawang’s landscape. The drone shoots were also done early in the morning so as to capture the mist near the shores, which lent the video a touch of dreaminess.

Project Lionheart Opening Video

The opening video for Project Lionheart launched the 2022 campaign by sharing real, emotive stories of Singaporeans’ resilience during COVID-19. Featuring individuals with firsthand experiences, the video set the tone for the campaign, which reached millions through exhibitions celebrating community strength across Singapore.

Paws for a Cause

For SPCA’s annual fundraising gala, Paws for a Cause, we were commissioned to produce a film that captures the depth and urgency of SPCA’s work, with a focus on sustaining its vital veterinary services.

Our approach was to centre the story around a simple but powerful idea — that every animal that comes through SPCA carries a story, and behind each story is a system of care that makes second chances possible. Rather than presenting SPCA solely as a shelter, the film reframes it as a lifeline — one that bridges rescue, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and ultimately, rehoming.

Anchored by the voices of SPCA’s team — from leadership to frontline rescuers and veterinarians — the film moves through the full journey of care. It begins with the urgency of rescue, transitions into the critical role of the Community Animal Clinic, and expands into the wider ecosystem of volunteers, fosterers, and adopters who sustain this work. At its core, the narrative highlights the often unseen reality: that behind every successful rescue is the ongoing need for medical resources, expertise, and funding.

Visually, the film adopts a warm, documentary style — balancing intimate close-ups of animals in vulnerable moments with dynamic, on-the-ground footage of rescues and treatment. Natural lighting and grounded camerawork create an honest, immersive perspective, while moments of joy — animals running free, finding homes, and reconnecting with people — provide contrast and hope.

The result is a piece that not only showcases SPCA’s impact, but also reinforces the purpose behind the gala — to remind audiences that their support directly powers every rescue, every surgery, and every second chance.

Our Future Is Now

Commissioned to create an emotive video celebrating Singapore’s 50th birthday, we showcased the limitless future for Singaporeans. Storyteller handled the entire project—from concept to post-production—in a style inspired by classic Singaporean cinema, with the video widely circulated by government agencies.

Why Do We Serve

We were tasked to create a cinematic NSman tribute video thanking servicemen from the different arms who had extended their service with the force & are now completing their last cycles with the SAF.

This project took us across bases and camps on and off mainland Singapore allowing us to capture the vastly different theaters the armed forces train and prepare at.

We also filmed at the homes of servicemen and with their families to capture the human element of who and what they are defending.

Legends Fencing

For Legends Fencing Club, Singapore’s first and only fencing club dedicated to adults, we were commissioned to produce a brand film that captures the spirit of the sport and the community that makes the club unique.

Our approach was to present fencing not just as a sport, but as a pursuit — a blend of art, strategy, and athleticism often described as “physical chess.” The film was designed to convey the club’s ethos: that fencing is accessible, rewarding, and built for connection among like-minded adults from all walks of life.

The film brings the viewer into the world of the club — the discipline of training, the thrill of crossing swords, and the camaraderie that forms off the piste. Founded by former national champions, Legends Fencing offered a rich visual and narrative canvas, and we leaned into the elegance and intensity of the sport to craft a piece that feels both aspirational and inviting.

The result is a cinematic brand film that positions Legends Fencing as more than a club — a community where adults can discover the art of swordplay in a welcoming, world-class environment.

A New Sanctuary

For the ACRES Gala 2025, we were commissioned to produce a campaign film in support of “A New Sanctuary” — ACRES’ expansion project to improve rehabilitation spaces for rescued wild animals in Singapore.

Our approach was to reframe the story of expansion: not as a bid to house more animals, but as a commitment to giving the ones already in ACRES’ care the dignity, space, and environment they truly deserve. The narrative was built around a simple but powerful distinction — that ACRES is not just an animal rescue service, but a wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary.

The film journeys through the daily efforts of the ACRES team — from animal rescue and medical treatment to public outreach and education — before drawing the viewer into the heart of the challenge: the limited and constrained rehabilitation spaces that currently define the facility. It culminates with ACRES CEO Kalai sharing his vision for a sanctuary built not for quantity, but for quality of care.

Visually, the film leans into warm, natural tones — sunlit scenes, golden-hour lighting, and earthy palettes — with gentle pacing, intimate close-ups of wildlife in recovery, and wide shots that quietly reveal the need for change. The result is an emotive, dignified piece designed to deepen connection, inspire compassion, and move audiences to support ACRES’ vision for a better sanctuary.
