SG Youth Plan

Client: MCCY

Year: 2026

Turning the voices of a generation into a shared vision for Singapore’s future. The SG Youth Plan is a five-year roadmap developed by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the National Youth Council to support young Singaporeans in becoming Confident, Connected and Contributing citizens.

Built from an extensive national engagement involving more than 60,000 youths, over 415,000 responses and more than 200 partners, the Plan brings together the aspirations, concerns and ideas of young Singaporeans and translates them into more than 20 initiatives for the years ahead.

Storyteller was engaged to help bring this body of work to life.

We worked on the SG Youth Plan report, helping transform the depth of insights, perspectives and initiatives behind the Plan into a clear and compelling narrative for its public release.

Alongside the report, we created the official launch film for the SG Youth Plan, distilling the ambitions of the Plan into a story about the generation that will shape Singapore’s next chapter.

The film was used to launch the SG Youth Plan at the SG Youth Forum on 25 July 2026 at Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, where the Plan was unveiled in the presence of President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and then-Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth David Neo.

For us, the project was an exercise in translating policy, research and thousands of individual voices into something people could understand and connect with, ensuring that a plan created with Singapore’s youths also spoke meaningfully to them.
